Stratis—from the Latin “layers,” and echoing the Dutch straat (“street”)—is deeply personal to me. With half Dutch and half Austrian roots, I carry both cultures within me, and this book reflects that layered heritage while exploring the layered complexity of life itself.

Over four years in the making, distilled from more than 40,000 photographs, Stratis is my first major photobook. At its heart lies the street life of Vienna. Each image is an invitation to look closer—through shifting angles, changing moods, and the passage of time.

To honor this work, I chose to craft the book with the same care I dedicate to my fine art prints:

• Lay-flat binding, allowing uninterrupted spreads even across double-page photographs.

• Museum-grade paper (368 g/m²), for tonal depth, richness, and longevity.

• A brushed metal cover, echoing the finish of my Fine Art Prints, framed in refined faux leather.

• Encased in a black faux-leather box, both protective and elegant in its presentation.

Each Collector’s Edition is strictly limited to 100 signed and numbered copies, and comes with an exclusive Mini Collector’s Print—a small fine art work available only with this edition.

While a trade edition may follow in the future through a publisher, it will not include the metal cover, the artisanal finish, or the Collector’s Print—making this version an irreplaceable part of my body of work.
